Paul Sinaly, MBA, CPA, Founder and Managing Partner

Paul has over 28 years of experience with Citigroup. As Senior Vice President for the Commercial and Business Banking Group in Central Manhattan, he managed 34 senior bankers in Central Manhattan, a $750MM business and the second largest territory for the bank in the country. In this role, Paul worked with and offered commercial clients from a variety of industries including Commercial Real Estate Financing, Commercial Lending, and Cash Management Solutions for expansion and working capital. Some of Paul’s clients were technology based companies that went from a business plan to a publicly-traded company.

More recently, Paul has been advising clients on M&A, Financial Control, and Enterprise Risk Management. He founded both P. Sinaly, CPA, P.C. and Private Equity Ventures, LLC. He also serves as a board member of the U.S District Export Council in New York, an adjunct professor at NYU, and is an active leader in the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants in the Banking Committee hosting technical seminars on Enterprise Risk Management with Community and Regional Bank CFO’s. He is active with both the New York Capital Roundtable and the National Venture Capital & Angel Investment Forum. Paul also advises specialized boutique investment banking firms in the New York City area on specific investment and capital raising opportunities.

He received his MBA and undergraduate degrees from St. John’s University.

Amir Sternhell, Managing Director

Amir is a premier Corporate Strategist and Business Development person with thirty plus years of experience in the IT industry and Corporate Learning space. Amir also plays a key role in Sertainty, with his background and experience in Cybersecurity and with the intent of providing strategic direction, new markets, and execution capacities to making Intelligent Data and the Sertainty Core UXP Technology a global standard in the data protection space. His work has been focused on driving value into Critical Infrastructure, the DoD, and Enterprises.

Early in his career, Amir was the founder of the first Non-Profit Organization that assisted Israel’s burgeoning Incubator System, in which he hand-held over one hundred high-tech companies. Later-on, he became the Vice Chair of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, overseeing its initiatives that included major conferences on Knowledge Management, Nanotechnology, Cleantech, Smart Grids and Cyber-technology. He received the Business Leadership Award in 2005, from the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for his pioneering work in helping Israel’s high-tech industry establish itself in the US. The youngest recipient to ever win this Award.

Amir Served in the Directorate of Military Intelligence for the Israel Defense Forces. He was awarded the Most Outstanding Soldier of the Corp. in 1981. Amir holds an AB in Political Science and Psychology, focusing on Game Theory, from Tel Aviv University in 1986. He is the recipient of three gold medals, as part of Tel-Aviv University’s Basketball team. He holds an MIA in International Economics from Columbia University ’90, where he studied under a former National Security Advisor, and an MBA from the ‘Grand Ecole’ EDHEC ’92 specializing in Technology and Management – where he graduated first in his class.

Amir is affiliated with the Center for Innovation and Commercialization (CICL), which represents over three hundred High-Tech companies, in cybersecurity, analytics, and enterprise applications, emanating from Israel. He is a Global Ambassador of the Connected Infrastructure for Educational and Applied Research (CIEDAR Consortium). He sits on the Board of OLB.Com. He sits on the Industry Advisory Board of GuardDog AI. He is, also, an Advisor to the Tachles VC Fund.
